Questions
Is my spreadsheet uploaded?
No. The file is read in your browser and never leaves your device. Product names and numbers never reach our server.
Why does my file show errors?
Every row is checked before anything downloads, so no code is skipped or changed without you knowing. Each error shows the row number in your spreadsheet and what to fix. To go ahead without them, tick the option to leave out the rows with errors.
Excel removed the zeros at the start of my numbers. What can I do?
Excel treats long numbers as amounts and drops leading zeros. Before typing or pasting the numbers, select the column and choose Format Cells → Text. Alternatively, save the file as CSV from a program that keeps them as text.
Can one file contain different barcode types?
No. Each file uses one barcode type, chosen on this page. Split the file if you need several types.
Which file types can I use?
Excel workbooks (.xlsx) and CSV files, including CSV files saved with semicolons in European language settings. Old .xls files are not supported; save them as .xlsx or CSV first.
Can I print the barcodes on labels?
Yes. After checking the file, select Make labels to send every code, with its product name and SKU, to the Label Maker.
How many rows can I upload?
Up to 1,000 rows and 5 MB per file. Split bigger lists into several files.
