Questions
Do these QR codes expire?
No. These are static QR codes: the content is stored in the code itself, so it keeps working as long as the link or details remain valid. Static codes cannot be edited after printing; to change the content, create a new code.
Is anything I type uploaded?
No. Codes are made in your browser. Links, Wi-Fi passwords and contact details never reach our server.
Why might a code with a logo not scan?
A logo covers part of the pattern. We raise error correction to H (30%) automatically, but always test the code with a phone before printing.
How do I scan a QR code?
Open the camera app on a phone, point it at the code and tap the link that appears. Most phones made since 2018 need no extra app.
Is this QR code generator really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit, and you can use the codes for any purpose, including commercial use. The codes are static, so they never stop working because of a subscription.
Which file format should I download?
For print, choose SVG or PDF: they stay sharp at any size. Choose PNG for websites, documents and social media.
What size should I print it?
At least 2 × 2 cm for short links; larger for long content or for codes scanned from a distance, such as posters.
